organises seminars, conventions, incentives and trips to Montenegro.
A small, recently independent Balkan country, Montenegro evokes the romantic world of one of Tintin’s adventures and his journey to ‘Syldania’ (Ottokar’s Sceptre)…
Organising an incentive trip to Montenegro gives you the chance to discover this pearl of the Adriatic coast, situated between Croatia and Albania and dotted with Orthodox monasteries and preserved medieval villages along the coast.
On the seaside, seaside resorts are developing rapidly (sometimes too rapidly), with the citadel of Budva at the forefront, surrounded by heavy ramparts and home to a luxurious marina where jet-set yachts rub shoulders with fishing boats. The Becici beach outside Budva’s walls is lined with hotels, most of them luxurious, offering the infrastructure needed to host company conventions and seminars or incentive trips to Montenegro.
A few kilometres along the coast, the prestigious Aman hotel chain has transformed Stevi Stefan, an ancient fortified fishing village dating from the 15th century, built on a rocky islet linked to the coast by a narrow sandy isthmus, into a small, ultra-luxury hotel designed to accommodate VIP guests invited on a press trip or an executive committee meeting.
On the mountain side, Montenegro is home to a real masterpiece: the Kotor Mouths, the only fjord in the Mediterranean, stretching 28km inland. Listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site, the Kotor Mouths are well worth a trip to Montenegro. You can get there by boat, on a catamaran cruise lasting a few hours or aboard a real bateau-mouche (imported from France), or by road through the villages of Perast and Risan.
In terms of nature, Montenegro has some beautiful national parks (Lovcen, Lake Skadar, the Tara Canyon), making it ideal for organising excursions and original team-building activities.
Still little-known, Montenegro nevertheless offers many attractions for organising a seminar or company trip between sea and nature.
Montenegro has seen a significant development of its hotel and tourism infrastructure, allowing the organization, in excellent conditions, of corporate trips and events. Air connections remain insufficient and can however constitute a brake…
HOTELS IN MONTENEGRO
Hotels offering the necessary infrastructures for the organization of conventions, business seminars or incentive trips in Montenegro are mainly concentrated along the Adriatic coast and are currently experiencing a clear upscale.
Some «large-capacity» hotels allow the reception of large groups and offer suitable meeting facilities for the organization of general meetings, conventions or seminars (Splendid Conference & Spa Resort, Avala Resort & Villas on the beach of Budva)
A few charming hotels (Hotel Budva, 4*) or luxury hotels (Regent Porto Montenegro, 5*)
In the top luxury category, the island-village-hotel Aman Sveti Stefan will satisfy the most demanding, soon to be rivaled by the brand new One&Only (opening 2018) in the bay of Kotor.
